Kobe has good cakes and pastries and of cos Kobe beef...how can i miss it...e beef's really good...nice and tender...u gotta try it urself...not cheap though...paid about 3000yen for a lunch set...

stayed at a farm house before we head to Kochi, was in e house e whole day, bad weather...been to many hostels...surprised to find quite a number of Singaporeans who had been here before given our small population...and foreigners from as far as Israel...and a few are fluent in Japanese!

there really is no attractions in this area so didn't do much but at least we tried their famous tuna at this food court-like area which you seldom see in Japan...there is virtually no food courts here, so its a rare find...

it's home to Dogo onsen, e oldest bath house in Japan, but didn't manage to give it a try cos e golden holiday crowd is just overwhelming...long queues were already there before 6am! ...Natsume Soseki wrote a novel titled-Botchan while as a teacher in Matsuyama, could be an interesting read...
